The client required a Japanese style garden featuring a large pool for Koi carp.
The entrance to the garden is through timber gates and arch constructed from green oak which ages to a soft grey colour.
Planting features species with bold foliage, interesting texture and architectural form. Flowers are of secondary interest but most plants have blue or white flowers.
